Dolphins Chess Course:  Hornsby, Sundays 9.30am-11.30am    $15 per week

Willow Park Community Centre, 25 Edgeworth David Avenue, Hornsby (inside the main building)

The Dolphins Chess Course in Hornsby is our longest running chess course with a diverse group of children of all ages learning to improve their chess and become more competitive in the tournament scene.

During each lesson students are given interactive chess lectures by a Smart Dolphins Senior Coach on all aspects of the game in order to gradually improve their understanding and competency in chess (Above).

Sessions also include social games and usually a tournament game as well, when children will learn all the disciplines involved in being a strong tournament player (self-control, time management, critical thinking etc).

 Each week children are also given chess materials and set homework for the week, all this setting a concrete foundation for their chess improvement.
